The current Notre Dame basketball coach is Mike Brey. He has been the head coach of the Fighting Irish since 2000. During his tenure, Brey has led Notre Dame to 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, including back-to-back trips to the Elite Eight in 2015 and 2016. He has also coached several standout players, such as Jerian Grant, Pat Connaughton, and Bonzie Colson. Prior to his time at Notre Dame, Brey spent eight seasons as the head coach at Delaware and five seasons as an assistant coach at Duke under head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Brey has a career coaching record of 459-241 (as of 2021).
